Adding a printer

Into the Search box, type Printer and from the search results, select Printers & scanners.

Click Add a printer or scanner.

If your printer is connected with a cable to your device, select your printer from the list of available printers.

If your printer can be connected to via Wi-Fi, select Show Wi-Fi Direct printers and select your printer from the list of available Wi-Fi printers.

If you are asked to provide a security code or PIN, take a look at your printer’s display or any labels that might be attached to your printer. Take a note of the PIN or security key, type it in to your laptop and click Next.

If the connection is successful, you will now be able to print from any application on your device.
