The simplest way to launch Edge is by clicking the Edge application shortcut on the taskbar.
Alternatively, you can click Start and click the Edge tile in the Start menu.
You can also search for Edge. Click the Search magnifying glass and within the Type here to search text box, type Edge. Once located, click Edge in the search results.
If you are using a laptop, the first time you launch Edge, you'll need to sign in. The next time you launch Edge, you won't need to sign in.
Click into the address bar at the top of the browser window and type the full Web site address. When you are done, press Enter, and the Web site will open into the browser.
Click into the address bar at the top of the browser window and type what it is that you are searching for. Press Enter and Edge will use the Bing search engine to locate any relevant Web sites.
If you visit one Web page and then visit another, the Back button will allow you to go back to that previous Web page.
Having gone back, you can return to the Web page you were just on, by clicking Forward.
If you want to refresh a Web page for whatever reason, click Refresh.
